Lullabyes is a moody and dark art-rock album-album. Not really comparable to the first two Foo Fighters albums. I like all of 'em (and no other Foo Fighters), but would give QOTSA the nod any day.

I will eventually listen to this but don't really care…

I think the environment in which an album is released can work in the opposite direction too, adversely affecting its "gettability." For instance, I don't understand the generally negative opinion towards Hail to the Theif on these boards, and I wonder if it has to do with its release in those seemingly…

The Current is a good radio station. But would it kill them to un-pussify it a bit? They'll play four M&S type new-indie songs for every song with any sort of bite to it. Just to take the two bands in this article for instance… the Current hardly played anything from the Fall's most recent (and very good) album.
