Mr. Kite has never floated my boat compared to the rest of the album.

I just watched Dune while trying round out my dive into all of Lynch's films. Going into to Dune expecting a David Lynch film left me (and probably anyone else expecting the same thing) sorely disappointed. It is barely a David Lynch film beyond the brief Lynch cameo, the once in a lifetime image of seeing Patrick

Idris Elba or Alan Rickman.

As usual, I cannot weight in about eight of these yet. Plus, I still have to see The Hateful Eight, Son of Saul, The Revenant, The Big Short, Joy, and Anomalisa to be "award-season" ready. I am assuming that my takes on a few of these films will re-shape my list. So far, my top films are as follows:

Many of the reviews I've read have not acknowledged the evidence that Hanzee is (probably) Otto's bastard child. It's right out there in the open when Ricky asks if Mike is "the kid Otto had with the maid?"

I have never been a huge fan of "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite." Sure it works as part of the Sgt. Pepper's concept, but I personally have never found it that enjoyable to listen to.
