LOL at comment/username.

I don't understand the first paragraph….

Yeah, I hear ya—those reason-less deaths of contemporaries always leave me looking over my shoulder for the Grim Reaper for a few days. It eventually wears off (fortunately and unfortunately: it's a relief to be rid of the paranoia but it's also a bummer to go back to taking life for granted).

Ah, that makes sense; thanks.

Now I want him to epigenetically acquire wooden teeth somehow.

Crap, I think you might be right about his being a descendant of GW…

"This week we met Luke, who is a former flame of Abbie’s. This will probably be relevant later."

When Christy is driving up to her house (before the daughter's boyfriend even comes out the window), the audience is already laughing. WHAT ARE THEY LAUGHING AT? There was no joke there, unless "Christy has a shitty car" is a joke.

It might have been a little by-the-numbers (as Myles suggests, the spots for banter seem to be structurally predetermined), but I loved the little runner about "dark elf" and then "elfs"/"elves."

By far the best thing about Stonebridge and Martinez as a couple was that little scene were Scott opens the car door and instantly understands what's up. Stonebridge's faces were priceless, the way he didn't even try to deny anything, knowing that Scott can recognize this kind of thing (being, as he is, quite familiar

(Apologies in advance…)

I think this even counts as a *runner*, since, IIRC, we got a second version of it later.

In the Great -Verb War, I sided with the Antis.

Maybe because the topic came up re: Aubrey Plaza, but now I'm having a harder time forgetting about the real-life actors behind the voices. It doesn't help that I now know who Janet Varney is (and maybe she is letting Korra's voice sound less young?), but Lisa Edelstein and real-life mustache-guy (Tenzin's brother)

About seven or so minutes into an episode, the dread/anxiety that the ep will come to an end starts to creep in. Argh! The show is so good.

What does "legacy act" mean? From the context I gather that it's shifting gears from being a musician who keeps producing new art to one in permanent retrospective mode. Is that right? A quick google search revealed nothing.

Remote Controlled Saint-Amour
Royal Crown Saint-Amour

You also have to inject some English-speaking Mexican male youth with progeria or something. Those I'm-drowning scenes ain't gonna act themselves out on their own.

Well that's just a weird way to say money. :)

Nice. I love that point. The assumption that the rest of the world DOES know what it's doing.
