OT: Is Sean Connery's accent representative of where he grew up or do his neighbors think he talks weird? I ask because I've never heard an accent similar to his, even in his fellow countrymen.

I wonder if the distorted clock looking fine to us at first confirms that our point of view is Will's more than any other character's. Then again, we later saw the clock as distorted, from Hannibal's point of view, so it might just be shifting.

I somehow never quite connected those dots, that Will is the opposite of a sociopath in a way. Very interesting, as you say, that the two poles end up meeting in a way.

Jack Crawford's somewhat ruthless pragmatism made me think, in this episode, that he might have a second reason for throwing Will and Hannibal together (beyond the unofficial status of the psychiatric relationship): He, Jack, might already have suspicions about Hannibal.

I did like the way she patched up the hole. It's character-revealing. She was sleepy enough to call it a night, and yet she got a staple gun and that plastic sheet and covered up the hole herself.

All nonchalant and "This is just one 'Dead Person' passing scissors to another 'Dead Person', a common courtesy. You can finish up this nonface if you like."

Unrelated: Are the beans in your username fava, perchance?

It's pretty gutsy of the show to give Will that brain inflammation. TV protagonists rarely get (physically) hurt in significant ways. And IIRC there is no hint of this in the books.
