Ha! Palmer Alumni, eh? She is the greatest thing to come out of Colorado Springs.

Seeing Magic Cyclops open up for The Polyphonic Spree in Boulder was the first time I ever experienced the Cyclops. It was amazing, and his song "Turns Out They Were Giants After All" still makes me laugh. They even did a choral tribute for him during the show. Very, very glad he made it onto the crap fest that is

There are a few weepy ballads I have for karaoke that I don't mind, like "Hallelujah" (preferably the Rufus Wainwright/John Cale version. It moves faster than the Jeff Buckley version. But I like people who have the balls the sing that one) Most of them are better when injected with the right kind of camp. There is a

Adele and Niki Minaj, at least at my shows.

I own my own karaoke business, and you, sir, are my hero.

It's that way in the U.S. as well. "Someone Like You" and "Rolling in The Deep" have dominated all of my karaoke shows for months. I used to kind of like Adele, now whenever I hear "Someone Like You" I have to fight back my rage.

I use Mog, Spotify and Rdio. Looking on Mog, and a lot of the artists on labels I was listening to are still on there. Interesting. I am irked about the Spotify thing though, a lot of the playlists I have been building over the last few months have been nuked.
