At first I thought there was just a toy gun in the yard and she'd made it look like the kid had it.

Not if you're on a private tracker.
And RTE are terribly unreliable with scheduling season to season to the point where they just drop shows for no good reason. And we pay a licence fee for it. God I abhor RTE.
Its not the actions of one or two journalists though. Its coming from the top and thats well documented. Murdoch is a monster and for more than just the phone hacking by the NOTW.
This is it as well. We live in a global world and the sort of people who pirate alot spend alot of time online. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, AV Club, etc its all available to the whole world simultaneously, so should TV.
Arundel Channel 4 is no longer well-regarded. It ditched its old remit and now shows mostly terrible, exploitative reality shows bout gypsy's and people with freakish medical conditions.
I'm in the same boat. I'm always recommending quality TV to friends as it hits the airwaves here. For instance Sky Atlantic only recently started showing series one of Friday Night Lights and I had at least 10 people watching it on my recommendation.
In the UK BSkyB started a new channel called Sky Atlantic, its basically there to show imported shows from HBO, Showtime, etc Its also part of a subscription package so HBO are probably making a decent chunk from that.
I felt sorry her. She's a 14 year old who had spent the previous 6 months being told be everyone she met that she was amazing and was going to win. And she seemed nice.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was the attacker too.
I always forget she's Lucy Liu and I think that says it all about how good a job she's doing.
That kid was Aryan as they come. He's even a ginge like Hitler.
If they can't do a good job dealing with her being pregnant and still working I'm worried about how they'll deal with her when she can't work. I hope they have a good plan and all this is just treading water until the real meat of this story kicks in.
I had the exact same. I hope Mr.McFarland bleeds out as a camera crew looks on. Not literally of course, figuratively… maybe spiritually.
I rolled my eyes at that kiss, I'm glad that all fell apart within the space of the episode.
My problem with Boardwalk Empire is not that its slow but it's slow then progresses quickly. So characters will do nothing different for 8 episodes and turn in an instant. Why take so long if the characters don't change gradually? Its a very well made show with some great acting and pretty mediocre writing.
I'd like it to be a little longer too. And maybe with a Todd section. Good idea though.
I have heard his and Merchants arguments for the show and they make sense and I think they're fair in concept. They weren't executed well though and I do think Gervais made his best work when he had real life experiences to draw on. The Office was about his own pre-fame job and his out of touch boss and Extras is…
He seems like a completely different character 10 years later. He's lost any sense of self-awareness he had in 2002. Its a shame, he really was brilliant for a while there. Reminds me of Doug Stanhopes bit about artists dying too young and Hendrix ending up playing Rocket Man with Elton John for a Superbowl half time,…
To be fair to the show this is pretty consistent behaviour for Raegen. Which makes me wonder why people think its ok that this isn't funny. I mean aren't good hang out shows supposed to have characters you want to spend time with? Ava is fun but Raegen is horrible and Chris is just a fool.
