The main reason Smith is there is because he's got star power, the rest of them are just guys. Its also to serve his own fans who will tune into anything he makes, especially if he's on it.

Thats what I liked about the violence in this film, the kitchen sink style just made it too realistic and grim to look at. Its in stark contrast to films like Drive where the violence is stylised and glamorised to the point of meaninglessness.

I think some of the reviews are just being a bit preachy about the whole thing being about rich dickheads and the nudity and stuff. If it was a film Nathan Rabin would be telling us it was brilliant in a years time.

Thats fair enough Todd but this isn't exactly a well built world full of interesting characters. Its 2 half decent characters and a bunch of stereotypes.
