i'd agree that he isn't the guy to take them over the top, but i think he will be a good coach for someone else soon. hell, i'd take him at my alma mater (UAB), where he'd feel right at home in a conference with fellow castoffs Mike Price and George O'Leary (though Richt actually coached in a game for the team firing

i'm no UGA fan, but Mark Richt has been a good coach for you and i think he's getting a raw deal. who do you expect to get as a replacement? Urban Meyer?

i think research needs to be conducted on this.

and yet, it's still better than soccer.

oh, Noel, you poor bastard, you sound like my dad, who is also a Braves fan. the Braves are toast, even if they do make it to the post-season (which they won't.)

sounds worth checking out, but damn, could they not have picked a better name? or did they want people searching for them to have to wade through Nick Cave and Cave In releases?

these should be some interesting comments.

i am not going to post a link to my tumblr. no, it doesn't matter how much you beg. jesus christ, have some dignity.

thank god.

i liked how Billy always spoke in absurd technobabble. because that is how nerds talk, you see.

thanks for the new avatar!

We Need to Talk About Kevin sounds nothing whatsoever The 400 Blows. i mean, i know you and most likely everyone else will not read this now but that is such an offbase comparison that i could not sleep tonight if i didn't say so.

yeah, i previously had vowed not to see this, but this review has me kind of wanting to. must been the mention of the sound design. i do love me some good sound design.

the fact that Billy Beane no longer seems to give a shit could certainly be a mark against him.

it looks like he's actively trying to become Russell Crowe in that pic.

i just don't see how Moneyball could be a worthwhile movie, and i'm a baseball fan. are they just going to gloss over the fact that the A's are pretty much the new Montreal Expos now?

wait a sec…

the albums with Joey were the best, but Bush is the better vocalist. and yeah, i find all those albums to be pretty underrated. but then again, i like all of Metallica's albums.

i've heard similar arguments to this with regards to Blade Runner and the umpteen versions of it floating around. it seems silly to me, but then again BR doesn't have quite the cultural cache of
Star Wars.
