Ah, Dr. Robuttnik, my doppleganger, so we meet again.
I've been psyched about the book tour for a couple weeks now - the Madison WI Borders has had a sign up advertising it for awhile - and that's without even knowing what the book was about. This was a great excerpt, and I cannot wait to buy the book and go to the reading at Borders.
Agreed. Plenty of people still rip on electronic music. I wish it were not the case.
I also loved the Clerks cartoon, and I also say "Bear's driving!" quite a bit (whenever it fits). The "why are we walking like this?" mentioned above is also classic. It's the sort of thing that I'd be maybe embarrassed to recommend to a new friend I didn't know well, but I can't help but think it's hilarious.
I have lived in Madison for three years (moved up here after grad school) and never really noticed anything frat boy-ish about State St. Brats. It's a good place to sit outside (during, as someone said above, the three months out of the year when it isn't snowing) and watch The Brewers on TV, drink beer, and eat some…
Oh man. Like so many others, I'm surprisingly saddened by this news. No IES? Taste Tests from now on will be so bittersweet.
