Yeah she does sort of look like Dean

She's why I keep watching

The look of sheer unbridled joy on Louise's face just before slapping Boo Boo was a beautiful thing.

Funny you mention that, because I've been seeing a lot of Bobby Hill in Gene lately.  The whole show feels like it's composed of strands of DNA from the Simpsons, Home Movies and King of the Hill, which isn't a bad thing at all.

I'll admit to loving the Dean doing Jeff, along with the whole "Jeff inside of me" bit, but I found the sentiment of the Troy/Britta plot unearned, even if it did involve a clever take on the Freaky Friday trope.

Yeah, I dug the puppet episode, and while I wanted Troy and Britta to break up and am glad its over, that didn't translate into love for last nights episode for me.

So glad I'm not the only one feeling this way.

My feelings on season 4 overall are the same as yours, the show is cannibalizing itself at this point.

Who's on top?  Or do they flip?

Louise is more of a force of chaos, non-conformance and greed than outright malevolence, sort of a trickster archetype really, or possibly "anti-hero" as Gene might say.  She's my favorite part of the show (along with Tina) but hey, different strokes and such.

Well, I certainly enjoyed all those shots of Dan on his back.  The rest of the episode was also good and funny and stuff.

I was under the impression that Bob just has a blood-injection-injury type phobia, which explains Bob passing out as a result of looking at his injury and later Linda trying to distract Bob while he was getting a shot.  I have this phobia myself and I've had similar fainting experiences and need distraction when

Louise master-minding a gambling operation in the basement?  That little girl has become Frank Reynolds in bunny ears.

Now you're just being petulant.

Here this might help…

I'd love to see an episode next season with Barry going flipping nuts after Katya has taken over the KGB.

The idea that Mallory is unfunny is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever read on this site.  She gave us the term "whorediot"!

I appreciate your balanced perspective.  I guess I'm just a little flabbergasted by the wide range of opinions.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the first 7 episodes of the season.

@Piecer:disqus I'm so glad I'm not the only one that really didn't like Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas.
