wanting to be book is not book
I mean this in all seriousness, I think you should pursue a book deal. That much weird, painful shit deserves some serious compensation.
He was also pretty cool about having those trannys at Tina's birthday party in the episode when he's driving the cab, he's an open-minded dude it seems.
God I hope so, I've been looking forward to that.
This season feels the same way to me. The episodes will have occasional chunks of humor or beautiful weirdness or clever plot ideas, but they get sandwiched in between chunks of mediocrity. I give the actors a lot of credit for selling some of the material, especially Gillian Jacobs.
I was troubled by Annie's gullibility in this episode especially, she's a smart kid and this isn't freshman year anymore.
Word. They should have given the show to someone else. I'm okay with the show changing and not being run by Dan Harmon, but I expect the show to be treated with a little bit of care. Season 4 feels like a rush job to me, like every episode is just another "Competitive Wine Tasting"
Poor Celebrity Pharmacology never gets any love, but the way Chang saved the day with his little speech and sacrifice was hilarious -
When I found that that even some casual fans of the show I know had detected the drop in quality in the new season (as opposed to being weirdly obsessive about the show like myself), I felt relieved and a little less crazy.
So your definition of a comedy is anything that doesn't descend into Hamlet-style levels of tragedy? Call me a comedy snob, but I like a couple good jokes thrown in.
Agreed, I guess we just like liking things.
You know, highlighting Tesla's interest in eugenics just makes me like him more.
And it didn't even get adjusted down in the finals. Ugh whats wrong with me, I'm rooting for a show I don't even care that much about anymore, what is this the television equivalent of Stockholm syndrome?
I think everyone in the study group is kind of a dick, they're all damaged goods even if they do still make efforts to be better people. "Competitive Ecology" was a better example than this episode was, though.
Last nights Community even beat the most recent new episode of Parks and Rec in the key demo and has been beating all the other NBC comedies not named The Office, there's almost no way NBC won't renew it unless it totally bombs and goes down to 1600 Penn or TNN numbers.
Jesus H Jones, Community got a 1.5 last night in the ratings (up from a 1.2 last week and beating all other new NBC comedies this week), even without new episodes of The Office or Parks to back up the Thursday schedule. Not bad, relatively speaking.
Maybe if we're lucky, the writers will just forget that Troy/Britta ever happened and we can just move on, there is zero chemistry between those two.
Britta may be the worst, but she's always been the best.
Abed's transformation into the new Jeff is complete.
