I thought the one on Daredevil, though still cliché, was the closest thing to it.

Wait, you mean he wasn't?

Noooo ! Is there more info on the title they might be writing? And does that mean the character is getting even more batmanized, and by that I mean that he appears in every other title to help out, and has several titles that are supposed to take place at the same time? And what of Janin then? I really enjoy the art

That's a very difficult question… You tend to think more about the stuff you're currently reading and loving. Spontaneously I'd go with Omega Men right now, but if I thought about it a bit longer, the answer might change.

That headline was begging for a tasteful comment thread.

At the beginning they do. What's annoying is that of course Banderas' character should have spoken both, but then no translation is possible in the movie. Omar Sharif butchers a word, saying "umereton" instead of "umeteron" at some point, but honestly I've seen worse. And I still use Buliwyf's death in Roman religion

I just want to profess my love for the 13th Warrior. The fights are beautifully filmed, there are some truly awesome moments (Now there do I see and so on…), and they speak latin and greek. It's my go to movie for when I'm feeling down.

Atlantis may have been the most frustrating show I watched those last few years. It went from cheesy and entertaining to awfully boring in the blink of an eye.

As explained in this new PhD dissertation: The intertextuality of hidden genitalia: looking for Austin Powers in Beowulf.

I guess I'll have to duck and hide after typing this, but I can't stand Joe West on the Flash. Controlling, condescending, overly emotional, treats his adult daughter like she's a little girl…

That could make for a nice AV Q&A: what weird musical associations do you have in your mind?

But then that'd be really scary and way too chilling. There are limits.

So who are we supposed to celebrate on Fictional child murderer day then?

Better yet: the field hospital set. With severable legs!

… if you have collected the immunity from burns potion, go to p. 112. Otherwise, go to page 197.

A couple years ago I had to teach a course where first year students just learned how to write. That's the case in most universities in my country now. What is most worrying is that they can't organize a line of thought if their lives depend on it. And those were students in Classics and History.

Pirates of The Caribbean: To the Far Side of the Hot Tub.

Maybe that was in imitation of the first one as well (or 4th, whatever). One of my friends saw it for the first time a few weeks ago, and said that the destruction of Alderaan was handled very fast, and she thought it was the mark of an older movie, in a "let's get on with the action" way.

I guess somebody had to do it. That's not an easy role he took on. But when he had to, he stepped up and bore the brunt and shame of making an overused joke. For that we salute him.

And especially with Korean Jesus.
