What is the point of it all ? Of this whole universe ? (Maybe the point of the first commenter was to create some sort of metaphysical panic)
I remember watching a talk show where a singer was asked his opinion on political matters. He answered that it wasn't his place to say, he was only a musician and was here to talk about his music and the charity he was promoting. I thought that was a very humble and sensible answer.
That's one of my favourite movies. Plus they speak latin and greek at the beginning. It's awesome, and the lighting (all natural from what I've read) is truly beautiful : the fights by torch light in particular.
Well obviously, but I'm not talking about the context : the narrative is organized around Achilles' anger at various things and it ends when he is finally moved by Priam and agrees to release Hector's body.
It's not about the war. It's in the first verses : it's about Achilles'anger.
Well, Achilles having a first hissy fit over Briseis, then a second one over Patroclus, and then finally calming down thanks to Priam. Also a cool stealth mission by Ulysses and Diomedes.
But that's only in one of the sequels !
Don't tell me who did it ! I want to guess ! I'm not listening to you anyway !
… and then, after quite a fight, Hector gets killed by Achilles, who then…
That's awesome. It almost reminds one of Claudel's Tete d'or.

That's something I'll never understand. When I was a kid my parents always told me that I was not to swear, but that if the situation asked for it I was to do it frankly. Fudge and other substitutes were considered way more vulgar than the actual words.
Well I know, actually. Especially when you're in an area where kids are notoriously rambunctious. I know that, I live it everyday and I hate every moment of it, especially since it's most definitely not a choice on my part. I'm just not sure spitting on your colleagues who're stuck in the same hell as you is the…
One year I worked at a school and there was a teacher who didn't talk to anyone and was always on his smartphone at recess. After a while we discovered that he was some sort of a twitter celebrity, having a "humourous" account in which he criticized everything and everyone at work (The same people he didn't talk to…
The mullet was the most painful to watch
It's like when they switched on the collider at CERN. It could totally trigger a black hole or something.
The header picture seems to insinuate that this movie should have something to do with vampires. I'm not so sure about this.
I thought the Player wasn't nearly as bad as the review here made it sound. Sure, it was silly and absurd, but also rather fun. Although it might be my embarrassing crush on Winchester talking. I'll try Blindspot as well, I guess, while lamenting the end of Scott and Stonebridge.
It sort of makes one miss cartoons like Batman and JLU where characters had rather mature, and especially quiet and non screaming conversations.
