He is responsible for people invading Poland.

I did the same as you, and I didn't understand much and sort of wondered at the hype. But you can find for free on comixology the preview they did before the series started. It's actually the first issue and it explains everything. Once I read it, I got entirely engrossed in the story and by the latest issue it had

Thanks. It still sucks.

I was wondering… Cancellation doesn't mean they'll just stop the series short ? They'll at least wrap up the story arc (more specifically, they'll go to Omega Men 7) ?

People need to start using Fairport Convention again.

That would be sort of cool actually. And there could be a spinoff set nowadays. What would the world be like if Wales had remained independent ? Find out in our new exciting series !

What the fuck did he do ?

They're canceling Omega men ? But I've just started reading it ! And it might be my favourite comic book currently. It really is a shame.

Does it really matter to your daughter ? I'm all for girls being the main characters and all that, but I don't remember really seeing a difference as a little girl. I totally identified with the cartoon d'Artagnan I watched, and had swordfights with my brother and sister. The gender of the character wasn't that

That's sort of my point. It's almost nice to have him here to validate stupid stereotypes. It's a shame really, because I sort of agree with him on a number of points.

As a part of the rest of the world, I'd like to say that I cannot stand Moore's film because I find them relying too heavily on emotion over rational arguments. But I think it's easier to like them when you aren't American because then you can explain all the bombast away by saying it's picturesquely American.

Read Michel Tournier's take on Robinson Crusoe's story. It's called Vendredi ou les Limbes du Pacifique. It involves trees and results in the birth of mandragoras. (All joking apart, it is a very beautiful and poetic book)
EDIT : that's Friday or the Other Island in English.

So it doesn't crater to your kind of crowd ?

First of all, is the bird carrying it an african swallow ?

Apart from you rocketing through all the related puns, you mean?

It really was a fun read. I was afraid the lighthearted and jokey tone wouldn't translate well into a movie but apparently that isn't the case.

With the number of them he's going to receive, he'll soon end up looking like a weird redneck Ephesian Artemis

Silicon Spartacus sounds like it could be the title of an anime.

Well, it had me tittering.
