"You're working in what is clearly a sex hut"
Rob Huebel Telescope and Rob Koiddry.
Natasha's was my favorite episode of the bunch. I know the cliche of sketch comedians is that they "hide behind their [titular] characters" but I felt like the viewer really got to know her in these scenes. Super funny stuff.
best/worst moments: the fired Nasty Bitz guitarist literally saying "It was supposed to be about the music." Richie grabbing a yellow legal pad and defiantly writing ALIBI RECORDS.
I had such a hard time placing her, which is ridiculous after I watched all those episodes of The League. Luckily she still had her same voice.
Tammy and Jocelyn's interaction at the end of the ep had shades of Liz and Liz (in a great way)
the DenofGeek walkthrough thing said 2023. http://www.denofgeek.us/tv/… (but to be honest, without reading that *today* I would have had no idea)
Blake's magician costume and carefully-styled hairdo were highlights for me. Just a great look.
I catch it on Pop TV here (formerly the TV Guide Network.) Seconding the recommendation!
I liked the twist on the process server actually being clueless and not just pretending to get the recipient to take their documents. "I'm a bus guy now."
"This is my cinema paradiso"
knock knock. Who's there? Vodka! I mean, rat-killing.
"Million to one shot, doc, million to one"
driving an ice cream truck around south Florida…reminds me of some good times playing GTA: Vice City.
Jonathan Stern's SVU mention had to be a coded message to you
I'm glad this show is catering to my demographic; the demographic of people who are super into Jason Mantzoukas
possible fellow rube here…I also thought she was just being paranoid until folks here suggested she was specifically angling to get a better home.
Like a shopping montage where he gets the inflatable Statue of Liberty and the marbull cawlumns.
"Wait for me, Abby Bernstein!"
Ken Marino, "Danny's Song," and no one drives a van into a tree? I call shenanigans.
