I don't like boiling an entire episode down to one silly moment, but the ridiculousness of that ending epitomized how wildly the Homeland showrunners/writers have lost touch with their audience this season.

This show has gotten so ridiculous, when they were hanging Brody, my roommate turns to me and laughs "I bet you the writers have Quinn show up and save Brody by shooting the rope with a sniper rifle".
