A Few Thoughts
Good God, was this a wonderful episode! I downloaded the song at the end almost immediately after finishing the episode. I really enjoyed how Whedon "scaled back the budget" by introducing a -more- ambitious direction for the show to take. It's hard to believe that this episode was so cheap, as compared

Scott Pilgrim
For some reason, this makes me extremely nervous for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim movie. Something that Brian Lee O'Malley does extremely well is write clever dialogue that actually sounds like something teenagers (or early 20s kids) would say.

Excitement
This, I think, is good news. I have enough faith in Sam Raimi as a director to believe that he'll have learned from his mistakes, and move back in the direction of the pure orgasmic wonder that is Spider-man 2.

Slang, bitches.

That -would- be interesting. I think a sitcom is in order.

As I said, I don't particularly -want- to see this movie. The whole concept just squicks me right the hell out. That would be a hate, actually. Stupid fingers, not hitting the right keys, thus making the wrong word.

Ohh . . . well, someone insulted Alyson Hannigan.

That shit pisses me off. I'm not even trying to get a firsty. I posted a real paragraph with real snark, and everything.

Sorry about that thar double post!

Damn
When I read the initial (doing everything I can to avoid the f-word) paragraph, I read " the examination of the romantic relationship between two roommates" and got all excited. I thought I could enjoy more "A Seperate Peace"-style homo-erotic, repressed, school-chum tension.

Huh?
"And the much-put-upon nurses spend their days . . . giving handjobs to needy patients . . ."

Holy Crap, I hadn't even thought about that Mr. P.
