Yeah, that was the worst part about that movie. I just felt bad for the guy… But the Matt Stone interview more than makes up for it.

Ugh…
The first one was such a disappointment after Bowling for Columbine - the only movie where he didn't pretend that he thinks he knows the right answer to everything…
Damn. I would have cried too.
I'm glad I read this…
…I am seeing radiohead this sunday (oh my god I can't wait), and I saw that their set list last week had the Gloaming on it, and no Karma Police or Paranoid Android. The Gloaming is like my least favorite RH song, but at least I now have hope that it won't completely suck live…
Interesting - I am now going to picture all avc commenters as being young with gray hair. I'm glad I'm not the only one who started graying in his twenties and reads pop-culture websites at work…
Very true. Shit, you can die froma BB gun if you're unlucky. I wasn't saying they weren't dangerous, it is just that most guys I know who have guns for self defense prefer something with "stopping power," and a .22 seems less prestigeous, so i was surprised by the choice…
I tell myself that everyday, Mr. Belvedere. Every day.
Wouldn't you want the bullet to leave the skull and go for some distance? I would think that would make it harder to trace by balistics…
This is a trend that must be stopped.
Along with the damn commercials with Dennis Hopper, what is with the hippies-sell-out commercials? Do they actually appreciate these commercials, or do they recognize that they are being pandered to?
I guess it is somewhat of a stretch, but I mostly thinking of Mezzanine…
OH SHIT - I can't believe I forgot about Massive Attack…
Ahh…I wasn't thinking about the target practice/competition thing. That would make more sense. I was assuming it was for self-defense (hyphen?), since it was loaded.
Some others..
Okay, so I've been the only one saying Broken Social Scene. I think like two other people said TV on the Radio, which should also qualify. What about Secret Machines?
Was Broken Social Scene considered? It seems like they would be perfect for this…
Oh - someone did. But still, pretty funny.
Really? A .22?
I'm not super into guns or anything, so maybe I'm missing something, but why would he have a .22? I would have pictured him with something less pellet-gun-like…
Would TV on the Radio count as well?
Good call. And, yes, they are awesome live. I saw them with the Rapture once and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Peter (i think) played the last song from the crowd and finished the last solo leaning against me - so much fun.
Broken Social Scene
This was the first band that came to mind when I saw this list…
I am getting anxious…
…waiting around for my damn Friday Buzzkills.
