I watched this…
…on my way home from Iraq. It was a free movie that the USO got for morale, and I was stuck in Qatar for almost two weeks before I was able to go home. So I figured it would be nice to sit in an air-conditioned theater with some fucking popcorn and watch a movie. Wrong, wrong wrong.

And I suppose you are right, Lexicondevil - for the most part, it is a smart decision for people with few options. But to pretend that the military atttracts only the best and brightest, well, that's kind of ridiculous.

Yeah, I just got off of active duty last year after 4 years in the air force. I know the (ch)air force is really different than the Army, but if anything, we have fewer fuck-ups.

There are a few ways you can get around most draconian web-usage polices - setup your own proxy at home, use an anonymizer (fuck spelling things correctly, right?), etc. However, if your company is pro-active enough to block youtube, they will almost certainly be pro active enough to fire you.
