How can your resumes water your lawn? How would you update them?

Source material for Deadwood: Pioneer Days in the Black Hills by John S. McClintock. What amazes me is how I keep discovering more and more characters from the show reflecting real life people described herein. Even the "soap with a prize inside" guy really existed, and that soap was his scam. He'd wrap dollar bills

Everything looks too nice.

Send your videos to Al Swearengen, at the Jem.

O.K.

Both are engineers.

And TV to art as well. Everyone looks younger and chestier. Though I imagine the dialogue is better.

Nothing But Trouble viewings?

If the gif I just saw didn't lie to me, George RR Martin is killed in this at a movie theater (I assume his) playing a movie called Shark Wedding, when a shark bursts through the screen and eats his head.

A script draft is out there. I haven't read it, but someone here probably has and can tell us their fate in that version.

And his warrant his face.

That's a great idea. Walton Goggins might have been perfect for this role.

I think everything would be gravy because I would be a Davidovich.

Blue balls is as old the hills. Though apparently the Greeks had no word for blue; they called it "balls by the sea."

I really like the wife, Kelly Reilly, though people in the main reviews dislike her schtick. She was just such an instantly Coen-esque moll floozy in that first episode, it kicked ass. Of all the actors she hit the beat the material needed instantly.

Yeah, it seemed like the most personalityless version of what it was.

She was in Morning Glory.

I thought it would have more narrative momentum after last week's shootout of doom. There would be more cause and effect onscreen. Instead it was its same glum self, and any change was already in the past.

Jim Beaver commented on one of the Deadwood Random Roles, I think Dan Dority, a while after it was published, and no one had even responded. I upvoted him. I figured it probably is him since he talks Deadwood online a lot.
