Dr. Snuggles! Yet another memory of the early Nickelodeon days, when they relied on other countries to program for them.

All Aboard the USS Enterpoop!
This is wonderful news. I will stake out shelf space for these volumes near the Complete C&H and Far Side.

I'm sorry… how exactly did she keep you from reading a particular comic strip? Did she cut it out of the paper, or use a magic marker on it or what?

Comics Curmudgeon has really turned me on to Funky Winkerbean. It's so refreshing to see such a bleak, despair filled void masquerading as a "comic" strip.

while I don't agree that Bloom Co. is the funny version of Doonesbury (both are funny), lumping BC in with Dane Cook is really going too far. Even the Ghost of Bill Hicks would agree with that.

Janet, thank you for sending ZMF the cookies. Nothing makes me buzz with joy more than seeing people bristle at ZMF's uh… ZMFitude.

@AS and Urtext:

Read the Bantam Paperback
"Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire, based on the film 'Push: Based on the Novel By Sapphire'" by Alan Dean Foster

I am slowly warming to Tim and Eric, and them hosting the Oscars would be a sight to behold. Their show is disturbing enough to people who KNOW what to expect…

oops, i meant "4-d", obviously

Aren't all movies in 4-3 anyway? The last for a duration of time, right?

When I went to see "Journey to the Center of the Earth" 3-d, I noticed an odd effect: even when everyone else was in 3-d, Brenden Fraser wasn't. Thats when I realized that even with artificially added dimensions, he has no depth.

not to mention "Parasite"…

From the "The more things change…" depaetment: in the 19th century people paid good money to visit Cycloramas, giant 360' paintings of historical events.

Viewmaster is awesome. I have a big set of 50's and 60's era reels. Older stereopticons are cool, too.

Thats another sub-genre that could survive long term in 3-d: Concert Films.

I prefer Francis Ford Coppola's "3-d Stake From The Heart"

"Just let me Deezen on by ya!"

Ya wanna buy a monkey??

When "Slumdog Millionaire"
wins Best Picture, Heath Ledger will reappear, and ask why "The Dark Knight" wasn't nominated.
