Oh and the comment "Since Ronstadt could never really hold her own as a solo artist" seems very odd, since she has one of the longest strings of successful albums of any woman, and she has sold more than twice as many albums as Parton and Harris combined.   Most artists would love to have such an unsuccessful career.

It seems to me you came into reviewing this album with some preconceived notions… and from a position of ignorance.  "Harris' lead on The Carter Family's "Lover's Return" demonstrates how she's been able to alter her singing over the years to suit her weathered voice."   Harris did not sing the lead on that song—

It's not so much Nicolas Cage as the principle cast of Raising Arizona. You might as well say "Holly Hunter is on the cover of a Serbian textbook", or "some unknown actor baby is on the cover of a Serbian textbook". Weak.

Well, as long as you know what you're in for.

One last shot? I'm going to be on you night and day, you whiny little cunt.

>Story arcs, narrative, sympathetic characters, practical effects, great performances and a believable universe all contributed to the success of the original trilogy.
