The Grumpy line is actually a variant of a very similar line spoken by Captain Kirk in the Star Trek V movie, but even this was borrowed from a very similar line uttered by Commander Koenig (Martin Landau) in an epsiode of the mid-70's British sci fi series, Space:1999 entitled "The Guardian of Piri".
