I do the same. PBS is the only place where I actually LEARN shit about cooking (it's a hobby of mine). The Food Network is way too dramatic and over-the-top for me, and doesn't seem to have much to do with food or cooking anymore.

Also something to consider: part of the reason Netflix can't make every movie ever made instantly available for streaming is because the amount of traffic would overload their servers, not to mention the entire Internetz. Streaming a video takes a lot of bandwidth, especially because they offer HD quality.
