I had never heard of Stick before he showed up in the first season (I'm not a big comics guy anymore, and when I was I was a DC guy).

I always really enjoy Sava's reviews of any superhero material, but I think the recurring theme that certain elements of Daredevil harm the show by making it less grounded to be very strange. The show is already not grounded in the least: it's the story of a blind lawyer who is also a ninja who fights crime. It was

That ending! That was exactly where I quit the show, too!

I'm really happy with "Outside the Boxes," with the caveat that I didn't realize the checkpoints weren't saving pink coin pickups, which makes them kind of pointless!

To me, it was enhanced. There are certainly some spots where the new enemy placements are challenging (they picked a new way to troll players with an ogre early on in the game!), but they've also fixed some of the worst things from the earlier version (those three crossbowmen that are right next to the bonfire in the

I guess it's a "views differ" thing: I really enjoyed the enemy placements in that one. And they took out some of the worst gotcha moments from the first one!

That sounds horrifying! Our big May loss went down with an explosion of outbreaks that devastated the CoDA zone! We had to reorient our entire strategy to devote two players to keeping a lid on further Faded outbreaks while the other two try to accomplish the objectives!

Man, congratulations on not letting any cities collapse!

I think it's just "hey, you try coming up with a cast of thirty loveable fantasy archetypes every few years and not repeating yourself a few times!"

Oh man, I'd love to get in on that Mario Kart if I wasn't playing Pandemic Legacy tonight!

Oh, the fan base…

Are you playing Dark Souls II or Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin? I unabashedly loved the original, but after playing Scholar it's hard to see it as anything but an incomplete rough draft. They really improved the enemy placements from both a narrative and gameplay perspective.

I'll be advancing our Pandemic Legacy campaign tonight, playing some Super Mario Maker if I get a chance, and playing Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest literally whenever there's a brief pause in my workday.

I really think flipping them would do the job! Just have the "slog it out" ending not be enough to truly destroy the final boss because it is at the height of its powers and can use those powers to preserve itself after death, and then have the "break the crystal" ending expose that final boss before it's at full

I know, I know… but I maintain that that's a flaw in the writing! Breaking the loop is the cool, interesting solution to the problem, so it should be rewarded with the best ending.

Actually, Rhajat was probably never born in your game! She's… Hinata's kid, I think?

On the plus side, I married Rhajat, so the little bits where she looks longingly into the camera and professes her undying love for me are quite hilarious. There's one where she says something lovey-dovey about our love lasting into the hereafter. Then the screen whites-out like the scene is over, but it holds for a

I'm all over the place in Souls games, mainly because they're incredibly good at accommodating different builds. The threaded cane hit the spot for me aesthetically, though: for my first playthrough of this incredible Victorian Gothic horror game, a pince nez, top hat, and cane weapon were decisions that my heart made

Oooooh, that's a spoiler I don't mind because it sounds intriguing and yet I have no idea what it means!

Only one marriage! That's incredible!
