Don't you worry about whether the man writes rhymes; it's well established fact that he writes cheques.

Stannis is so great that the showrunners have openly admitted that they don't like the character and have changed some of his material to make him less sympathetic and he's still one of the best characters on the show.

I don't acknowledge any Super Mario porno that hasn't been granted the Official Nintendo Seal of Quality.

But at least until he opened his mouth Russell Crowe looked believable as a dour, obsessive authoritarian police inspector.

In a world where CCH Pounder doesn't exist, I'm sure you meant to add!

What always bugged me about Nicholson's performance is that his character doesn't really undergo any kind of significant personality change between when he's some hired gun and when he is bathed in toxic chemicals and transformed into a psychotic clown.

Oh yeah, these are not what you'd call veiled homages!

Indeed. Particularly since, in a game awash in Berserk references, he's the Guts-analog!

The DLC is definitely worth it. Some really cool areas, plenty of boss fights, new NPCs, etc.

That Animal Crossing track was enough to get my girlfriend, who never plays Nintendo games if she isn't playing with me and has never touched my 3DS, to inquire about me picking up a copy!

Well, my LP idea that I mentioned in my post below now seems both less clever (someone's already done it!) and more clever (it works, apparently!) than it did when I typed it up.

If you have the DLC, the Chasm of the Abyss is a great place to farm humanity. I didn't even go there for the purpose of farming, but my many runs at Manus gave me enough humanity to fulfil the Chaos Servant covenant to save Solaire and then play the rest of the game as human without worrying about running out!

I had an idea for a Let's Play where my best friend plays Dark Souls for the first time while I coach him and expound my thoughts on the game. It'd obviously need to be edited down, but I think it could be pretty funny/interesting. Of course, it depends on me and him getting 90 hours we could spend together over a

I'll say this: I spend enough time in the Souls character editors to generally play without a helmet.

To be fair, he sort of has a personality: he's an elf mage hipster. Always going on about how deep into the Fade he's gone, and all the amazing things he's seen in there. You just know that if you tried to talk to him about your own experiences in the Fade he'd be like "yeah, I did all that years ago. Before it was

My greatest (and also only) jack-o-lantern of all time was a Phanto!

Jester Suiter Swordsman was my first DSII build, too! Scimitar and Shotel. No magic at all.

The stats are a bit more comprehensible in the second game, I found, but ultimately I think a good rule of thumb is to not worry too much about them. Decide what you want your character to be like, what magic, weapons, and armor you'd like them in, and then just focus on getting the requirements for those.

I really enjoy both of the combat styles (although I tend towards speedy builds in Dark Souls anyway, so Bloodborne may have been less novel for me in that regard), but there's just something about Dark Souls, man. I just love returning to Lordran and Drangleic again and again. Yharnam doesn't have that hold on me

I have had my sword at risk twice. Had to pull a couple of slick "open the menu while maneuvering around enemies, equip the greatsword, BATTER UP!" moves.
