"especially Season 2." Thank you! I feel like it gets a bad wrap ("Where are my dragons?!" etc.) but it's by far my favorite season of this show, and partly because seasons 3 and 4 have made stuff like the opening (Sansa sparing Ser Dantos) take on even more importance. It's not just that though. It also strikes me as

Almost made it through unsullied! But alas I am now slightly, um, sullied?

And he was a giant.

Mad Men "A Day's Work" or "The Strategy." I don't know which I'd pick, but not having Mad Men on the list is driving me Ginzo.

"I only date guys who drink Snapple."

I care! I never watch but I always play Final Jeopardy thanks to Jay S.'s recaps.

Yeah, exactly. I would have but I figured someone else would cover it!

I also haven't seen the final two yet, but I'm hooked, and Azazel Jacobs' style is a huge part of that.

All true, but Freddy stays sober. That's a different inventory.

Well this is my new favorite comment! You might be interested to know that the main guy from The Virginian, James Drury, is in this Rifleman episode.

I agree. I listened to several last year for my Gunsmoke piece (http://www.avclub.com/artic… ) and they really brought out the grittiness of Meston's vision. In particular I recall Doc Adams reminding me strongly of Deadwood's Doc Cochrane in his brusqueness.

Good catch. Neither is The Wild Bunch. I had originally written "more famous works" but that section got revised pretty thoroughly.

Love the first two! Wagon Train's less my speed. Needs more Clint.

I love Encore Westerns for TV westerns, but it seems to have less and less space for westerns that aren't already on every other nostalgia channel (Gunsmoke, Bonanza, etc). But I'm recording Bat Masterson daily right now so that's something.

Can't fight it by ignoring it!

It is only for ironic use.

Yeah, and Patrick is the top to Richie right now, too.

Beat me to it! We all know Patrick's the Rachel.

Gave it an A, and now I'm working on adding that to the top.

Good call! I watched a handful of Teshigahara movies this year, most written by Abe, and I've been dying to find a volume of his short stories.
