I'm a huge fan of Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters.  Their harsh wall of sound and dark imagery (see: Mapped by What Surrounded Them) mix together so well.

I like it, but I think the link to The Office is pretty weak!  That's what she said jokes existed (and were far less awful) before the Office.

Actors, authors, what's the difference.

Thanks, Steve.  These videos are pretty hilarious.  I especially like his impromptu Dr. Seuss book and his justification for why his book is better than the New Testament.

Bravo…

I feel like a fly on the wall in Tyler, the Creator's shrink's office.

Well, clearly you have the most qualified username, so I guess that's that!

Definitely a mistake, man.  Go see them next time you get a chance.  Their songs really come to life live.  I couldn't believe how loud they get!

Same here.  I also saw them with Explosions in the Sky a couple weeks ago and bought their back catalog.  I am a total Wye Oak geek now.

Thank you AV Club!  Their cover of Mother instantly turned me into a fan.

Fishing's not your thing.

This is my favorite thread ever.

You're telling me!!

Yeah, Urralwaysrite

What are your other faves, SarC?

I'm really surprised they were the worst (excluding Trail of Dead's asterisked entry, which I'm glad didn't get a lot of votes).  Titus Andronicus did a lot better than I think they deserved to!

Isn't it 15 votes per person?  5 for first choice down to 1 for fifth choice.

And those comfy chairs!  More like Stand? of No!-rses.

I just hope their new album has more songs named after West German Sixth Man Award winners!
