It seems that the writers have done a number of these weird Dexter and Lumen in other genres moments.

Kee-Rist! It seems that that Mike Martz douchebag from a while back has reinvented himself as non-registered link slinger Dick B.
That song always makes me think of Cotton Candy Autopsy from the comic books series Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children.
I think we are seeing that Dexter's sociopathic behavior is rooted in a sense of powerlessness. He early (pre-Harry) childhood essentially taught him that the world was full of either predators or prey. I think that being the perpetrator of violence was a way of making sure that he was not victim. Harry took that…
Seems the article already did.
I'm actually seeing a situation where Dexter and Lumen wipe out the Jordan Chase and the gang, and doing so actually purges Dexter of his demons.
I think even our most aggressive firstie hunters were delayed by a staggering sense of disbelief that this shit has actually gone down.
A valid point. Assuming that the 24 songs all come off of different albums that she would have had to purchase in CD form (an absurd proposition in the iTunes age, I realize), she would have "screwed" the RIAA out of about 384 bucks (ball parking at 16 bucks per CD).
I'm going to come out and say it . . . most of Lenny Bruce's stuff is cringe-worthy by today's standards, hackneyed Borsht-belt meets prot0-hipster bullshit.
Good job, flaw pointing guy. Perhaps I take offense here only because it is the first time I am hearing of this behavior.
Don't get me wrong, they're free to do as they wish. It's their business. I just think it's a dick move and a poor business decisions wrapped into one.
uses = loses Christ! What a typo-ridden mess that rant is.
In all seriousness, this is a disturbing situation. I mean, Netflix is a business. And as stupid, purile and meaningless as Trash Humpers is reported to be, it seems the kind of thing that will get rented (even if it is only for pure What the Fuck? value).
Motherfuck.
Quick! Someone send Jolie a copy of The Night Porter. Hopefully she'll realize that she has positively fuck-all to contribute to the genre and move on to some other irritating bullshit.
Assuming that Jonah tells Quinn everything he knows about Kyle Butler, I think Quinn is going to be pretty confused. I mean Quinn's a dick, but he knows how an angle is worked. Dexter would not be lying about his name if he was working with Trinity. So Quinn will have to assume that Dexter was investigating him.
It's probably the fact that it's generally effective even when the villain or endangering circumstance is poorly rendered. So you can have a villan or scenario that lacks interest but still yank out a reaction by endangering a baby. See Open Water 2 for the most egregious example of this shit.
I have the feeling the Nanny is going to prove interesting . . . my bet is that we are looking at one of Harry's old flames or perhaps Christine's (Trinity's suicidal daughter) mother.
Clearly there is going to be some interesting shit unfolding related to the "You don't know what you are getting into" line. Boyd had to mean that there were going to be consequences to Dexter killing him since there was no way Boyd was going to be able to do anything about it.
Nope. Age verification documents are actually kept on file with a real government agency.
