I might be wrong on that. But consider that there are more episodes of Soup than Community (don't think The Soup has off-season). So it's close already. Also, he probably spends way more time on set for Community than working on The Soup. So compensation-for-work-wise, The Soup is the relatively cushy job.
If Jasmine is written out of the show wouldn't Jabbar most likely have to be as well? Or would we have to believe that she left her kid to pursue her own dreams? Not that Jabbar is absolutely crucial but if he's not there then Crosby is doesn't get the good father moments to offset his irresponsible manchild moments.
