"Should have been watching this instead of baseball"

That's what makes the HIMYM comparison apt. They're both shows where the leads don't contribute much.

Carnac: Next up - Virginie Ledoyen!

"Ellen Page… definitely doable: I felt the same way about Shannon Woodward"

This could still believably be something from Jenna's "aunt" , like something her mom and the aunt wrote up while imbibing (?).

Moneyball and The Film of Yawn? I think it's Brad Pitt's year.

The first six-minutes had a few solid laughs. It kind of devolved. But it gave Shannon Woodward something different to play and I don't see how it ruins the characterization at this moment. I'll see how they write it the rest of the season. Maybe they'll just do a reset of sorts anyway.

That's not a nice way of writing his obituary.

Is it going to have ironic '90s style videos with Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler?

Where's your Serenity now?

This was actually quite funny. Most of it was of the derisive sort but so it goes.

CBS Cringeworthy Broad Stereotypes

HIMYM and The Office are sitcoms but the audience at this point is in it for the stories more than laughs. 2.5 Men is just garbage. And New Girl, the emphasis is on Zooey is adorkable and looks good in nice outfits.

This show the Sucker Punch of the tv season.

This episode was a DEFINITE improvement over the season premier.

Strictly from the laugh quotient angle, I rate this above 2 Broke Girls. The jokes are decently constructed; they don't seem too lazy and are only occasionally groan-inducing, unlike 2 Broke Girls.*

So this isn't CBS's version of Hung?

I restrict myself to the ones with good/reliable guests. Not something to be proud of really but…

Rob Ford is one of the whitest names in the world. Now to google to see if he's actually white….And yep.

C'mon, everyone should know Carey Mulligan.
