Good call on the zooming out.

Agreed. We need to stay 2-3% behind to ensure we can catch up and then go on an all-out offensive on the last day.

I wasn't being sarcastic.

I think so. Given NBC's past poor promotion, I suspect a large amount of people have just discovered that Chevy Chase is starring in a primetime NBC sitcom.

I love that people watching Community for the first time due to the publicity from the Chase/Harmon spat will end up watching one of the most elaborate concept episodes the show has ever done.

ABC have had a really good season and they don't have anywhere convenient to expand their comedy time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see NBC renew Off Their Rockers and use it as filler programming next season.

The worry is that ABC currently have seven comedies and six timeslots, making it likely they will axe two of them.

It's likely because, at the time, Community was already renewed while Chuck was in danger of cancellation.

Are we still doing Schadenfreude Thursday?

In hindsight, we should have been strategic and knocked out TWD in an earlier round.

Not my favourite episode, but this season Happy Endings has turned into the funniest show on television and I hope it returns next season.

I find it interesting that NBC decided to favour BFF over Bent.

I mostly agree, but I can envisage Chicago Fire becoming a big hit.

I think there's a disconnect between network executives and what the public wants to watch.

It's worth noting that Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs and Joel McHale all have parts in major comedy films this summer (The Five Year Engagement, Seeking a Friend For The End Of The World, and Ted respectively). The actors increasing their profiles certainly won't do the show any harm.

The first two episodes are available to preview on ABC.com, and via the usual disreputable sources for international viewers.

Just watched the second episode of Apartment 23.
