GIMME THAT PILL
The thing the Canadian version does better than the American version is eliminate the bullshit feel good human interest elements that too often turn Shark Tank into Extreme Home Makeover
I am a twin and one summer at camp whenever the one kid saw me and my brother together he announced "I'm seeing double, four Krustys", it was a long summer.
Can someone post the timestamp of Besser's Kanye story in Who Charted?
It's especially funny because while the iPhone is older and has more cultural clout the S3/S4 sales have been competitive with iPhone sales. This seems like a case of 99% of pop-culture writers owning all Apple Evan R. assuming that people he knows are representative of the population as a whole.
I saw it and TIFF and felt similarly, especially because while the sound is immersive it also turns the film into a test of viewer endurance. I do like this film as a sort of an anti-Discovery Channel, I like Planet Earth et. al as much as everyone else, but they tend to omit viscera of nature and show as much HD Porn…
I have heard FCH on Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan, he is articulate and has a lot of sharp insights, however, there is so much good writing on the internet that I still have zero interest in reading anything he writes because I can choose to read those who use capital letters and other syntax correctly.
" but Dave constructed such a beautiful, evil scheme to start off the show. He successfully convinces Max that he’s won a lottery ticket using the magic of DVR technology"
Webster's dictionary defines excellence as "the state or condition of being excellent."

The Happy Wanderer,
MoS's analysis is excellent. His premise which I noted before " fatalistic themes and motifs prove with certainty that Tony died" is bullshit. The idea that themes of fatalism in a show who's major theme was the decay of America can only end up with a character dying is insane. MoS's thoroughness…

The MoS essay has the premise "If there are themes of fatalism throughout the final season and the finale, then Tony is dead at the end". Then it exhaustingly details every single time there are fatal symbols/themes/motifs throughout the finale and based on his premise obviously Tony has died.

I completely understand that the two grades are by two completely different reviewers, but it's still disconcerting to the see The Coup album with a higher grade directly below the GKMC grade.

I saw it TIFF last year as well and I loved it, but agreed that it doesn't benefit from high expectations and is for certain people. It's a weird movie to write about without spoilers. Giving away the plot ruins the surprise, but highlighting that their is an incident that changes everything also forces the audience…

I saw it at TIFF and am a pretty huge Python fan and it's slight enough that it was never offensive, but at it's best it's a facsimile of what Python did well. The movie ends with Cleese giving Chapman's eulogy (linked below) and it makes you remember how much more lively/entertaining the actual Python's were, even…
