Oh yeah, we watched the beginning of Ponyo on Netflix Instant. Then we had to go. She was so upset that we had to stop watching. Then next time we had a chance to watch it, she chose something else. Later I tried to watch again but it was no longer available on Instant. Such is life.

That's one of those movies that I find appalling subject matter wise but so fascinating. It's so disturbing. Yet, well acted and executed. It's really a pretty great movie.

I was about to say there was a John Connor curse in which the actors die tragically young. Then I discovered that Edward Furlong is still alive.
