The Historian was AWFUL. Boring as all hell.

Look man, you can listen to Jimi but you can't hear him.
There's a difference man.

Don't you take the "L" to work anyway? How was that effected by the snow?

Conservative genius children talk like this…. Blah Blah Blah But, Liberal genius children talk like this… Bleh Bleh Bleh

But, where are the numbers?
The tool is cool. But, it doesn't post numbers next to the movies so you have to count what number on the list it is yourself. That gets pretty confusing once you start scrolling.

[Some spoilers—though I try and walk softly]

That looks like a fun summer movie with two actors that do not seem at all right for the parts they're playing.

@apples Along those lines, Tracy Morgan's shark tank caught on fire. Not a true life imitates art. But coming from the man/character who told us to "Treat every week like Shark Week", it seemed to be a 30 Rock plot line at the time.

Necessary? Are we judging these things as if they're necessary now? I mean, by that logic how would you explain the rest of R. Kelly's career?

Boy, Those Guys in the French Resistance Were Really Brave
You know? Got to listen to Maurice Chevalier sing so much.

@pheeze In SC1 we discover "Johnny Five's alive!" In SC2, we discover he's a freak, the only one of his kind and destined to lead a lonely existence as he tries to figure out his place in the universe by reading books like Frankenstein. Then, Oscar, his supposed friend, tricks him into robbing a bank and then beats

Also, I've said this before on the forums and I'll say this again. Short Circuit = Joy. Short Circuit 2 = depressingly existential film aimed at 10 year olds. It is an awful, awful movie.

But, his ancestors were from Pittsburgh.

@brain_slug The Gutt wasn't in Short Circuit 2. Johnny 5 was visiting Fisher Stevens. It was The Fish and Michael McKean who were playing Help My Rhonda to try and communicate through music to Cynthia Gibb that they were locked in a walk-in freezer.

Good Summation
Yes. What bothered me was the number of weeks the Chowder Society sat around and then all of a sudden just decided to jump into action.

Symmetry
Does someone also get a hand job in a mouth-shaped chair?

@Weenus I have read Boy's Life (as well as This Boy's Life by Tobias Wolff and Boy's Life magazine). That book was entertaining. Sometimes meandering. But, told a full story about growing up in the mystical southern swamplands. I liked it.

Yes. I am having the same issue with this book. I loooooved it when I was younger. Thought it was a brilliantly twisty novel with some frightening images. But, as time passed I could only remember that review of it in my mind and not what the twisty parts were or what was so frightening.

Agreed Zack. Floating Dragon was a "huge mess". It was just awful. It felt like it was trying to be The Stand and just fell totally flat as far as plot and its mix of reality (a chemical spill, wasn't it?) and supernatural. After reading The Talisman and then Ghost Story and a few others in junior high, Floating
