From a purely shallow point of view, I kind of like the fact that Korra's love interest is a good-looking firebender (and yes, I do have a lingering fondness for Zutara). I also love that their dynamic is hotheaded (native) waterbender and coolheaded firebender, and they have a wonderful Opposites Attract, Belligerent

He's still single because Korra just isn't into him. That's not a crime. I hope he does get a girlfriend eventually, but Korra won't be it, and that's completely fine.

That would be amazing. I'm not sure if they'd have time for it, though, considering they're deep into Book Two production at the moment.

Are you directing that question at Emily, or the group more generally? Because the show's original status as a miniseries is something I always keep in mind when I'm watching it and trying to rationalize the narrative decisions. It's also something I think about when making predictions for future episodes. I make

I don't think there's any rage over Lin, just a lot of plaintive cries of "WHYYYYY" and "My feels!" and admiration of her courage and sacrifice.

He doesn't have his ask box open, anyway. You can still send him fan mail (another Tumblr feature), but I'm pretty sure he doesn't respond to his (and with good reason, honestly, considering the fervor of the fandom).

I don't think he's actively avoiding the fandom or anything. He did sign off his latest post with "Have a great weekend!" which implies to me that he simply didn't intend to update his Tumblr until Monday.

No, actually. Pat, or Council Page, as the credits call him, is voiced by AJ Gentile.
