Aw man, I knew something would go wrong at the end of the episode since they couldn't just have it be THAT happy. So when Gretchen did the "you stayed" face after Jimmy's proposal and looked so happy under the fireworks, it made it even worse since you just knew something awful was about to happen.

That's what I thought haha. I didn't think people still thought that about him. It was definitely a popular opinion 5 or so years ago. But I think he's a great songwriter and a phenomenal guitarist. I haven't listened to Bon Iver's new album, but I do hope that I enjoy it as much as you did.

Shieeet the disrespect to John Mayer haha. He's so much more than the couple pop chart songs you hear. One of the best guitarists of this generation and an amazing blues musician. Check out the blues part of Where the Light Is (or just the whole thing). He spent this summer touring with Dead and Co. and solidified

I feel like this will be a recurring thing, where Lindsay will change how she lives based on one or two random sentences she hears weekly from Gretchen's therapist. And it's going to be hilarious.

My closed caption said "Oh, my tits, whaaat" both times Pam said it, but I clearly heard "on my tits." Good to know I'm not going crazy, and "on my tits" actually makes sense.

The chef at the diner dinging the bell for the waitress was such a great way to introduce Hector

Absolutely. I feel like Mama Baskets is going to break our hearts sooner or later, given the backstory they have shown us thus far. She missed out on cheerleading which was her passion, leading to an eating addiction. Her mother seems to have tried to get her back on her feet, then eventually ends up shaming her,

That was pretty sad when Mama Baskets was talking about her husband "falling off the bridge." I took that as her still being in denial about his suicide.

Did anyone else appreciate Jimmy's line about not wanting to be a has-been's lackey? "That'd be like Thomas Keller making the donkey sauce for Guy Fieri's taco-burgers."

"What is Melissa to write some shit like that?"
