I think the "pussy" refers to a person who isn't very tough as opposed to a sentient vagina that has somehow developed a tendency to act overly effeminate.

I'm with Pilgrim—It may NOT be a character. It looked to me like the statue had feline ears (fits with Egyptian Gods).
