I thought the scene with the pastor was the worst of the episode. Crosby's reactions seemed unrealistic. Of course Jasmine is going to go in there and answer every question quickly and assertively. This is her mother's pastor. She wants everything to come off smoothly so the pastor doesn't tell her mom he thinks

I think it was Elizabeth Berkley in "Big". Anyway, I still think Joan Cusack was at her hottest in "16 Candles".

While I missed Jordan horribly in '93-'94 & '94-'95seasons, I am forever grateful that Hakeem Olajuwon had the opportunity to win his championships. He is one of the most gracious and dignified professional athletes I have watched in my 30 years, and in my opinion is the most skilled and athletic big man the NBA has

I'm with you TVDW.
"The Loop" was the tits!

Suzanne
I just realized that she's Juno's best friend. I thought she was really hot then, and is still really hot now. I hope they keep her around and get her more involved. A little HBO nudity from her wouldn't hurt either.

My take on the Jason/Andy/Eggs/Tara thing is that Tara will at some point turn to the only other man she has ever loved … Jason. Jason will finally be at a place where he can love Tara back, but will feel guilty about the fact that he killed Eggs. He will confess to Tara that he killed Eggs, not Andy, and Tara will

No you missed the point. The queen told Bill that Maryann was immortal because she totally believed it (blind faith). She also said that Maryann hoped the god would come down and devour her. To which Bill replied, "So she wants to die?"

I agree that Conan's legs have been cut off, but not by Letterman or Leno, by Fallon. Fallon was really bad towards the end of his run on SNL, and I hated TAXI and FEVER PITCH, but the few times I've stayed up late enough to catch Late Night, it has actually made me laugh. He seems much more comfortable interviewing

@rawbun

Thank god! You were both getting completely annoying. That kind of petty one-ups-manship is what makes reading the AV Club threads quite painful. I'm tired of sifting through pissing contests to read thoughtful and thought-provoking posts (which have become fewer and farther between).

Allison is gone?
If not next week, then surely the week after. I'm convinced that this show is now exclusively the property of white, suburban, middle America. The minority contestants are always in the bottom three or two. Tonight Anoop and Lil left, and Allison was the third from the bottom. I really don't think

I'll take way over on BOB's prediction. It just broke the record for screens by an R-rated movie. If it will be showing in that many theaters, on that many screens, I'm guessing it gets at least $25 Million opening weekend. Plus they're starting at midnight on Thursday, and Snyder's films already have an audience.

Horace was the asshole that fried the cajun in "The Green Mile" without wetting the sponge. I think he also played the villain in the horrible Jamie Foxx vehicle, "Bait".

Why do people get worked up about contestants that have had previous deals? Maybe you haven't been watching as long as I have, but the very first winner (that's right Kelly Clarkson) had a deal before she auditioned for the show. She never put out a record, and at one point went back to Texas, temporarily giving up

I agree that it might not be the Temple. Robert said that the monster is a security system for a temple. But he did not say that it was a security system for that particular building. For all we know, there could be many rabbit-holes located around the island that the smoke monster uses to get to and from THE

I think the time jumps kept getting closer and closer as the I7 got closer and closer to the Orchid/well/wheel. Any thoughts?

"No! Don't take it away!"
