I won't get my phone out at a movie but i will at a comedy show. I just don't see them as the same thing. First off the room isn't nearly as dark and second a movie is the kind of thing you want to become immersed in, taken to a different world. I don't see a comedy show as the same thing.

Agreed. I can't text at someone's show? That's just bizarre.
