This was a test post, as I am having trouble posting in another thread. I really have nothing to say about the Golden Globes but this was the first topic I clicked on. I guess now I have to say something unless I find the delete function. Can't. I once sat next to Amy Poehler at a filming of Late Night With Conan

I haven't read more than the top couple of the 500K+ comments, but I just wanted to drop in and say that Jonathan Banks so far exceeded any expectations I had that I've already all but forgotten about that Clark Griswold dude. ++1000

First!  Er,,,I would have been first if not for the long paws.

I think a lot of people were expecting a bloodbath this episode (myself included, to be honest) and it turned out to be more dialog driven.   There was a lot of tension build up, but no release…yet.

Some interesting speculation on the reasons for including "Dutch" on the Schraders' bookshelf.  Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, but the final few paragraphs of that book are almost a perfect description of Walter White (and an excellent and memorable bit of prose).  Here's a bit:

Plus the last passage of "Dutch" basically describes Walter White.

The last two pages of the book basically describe Walter White.  I believe the passage is entitled "The Glacier".

This is an amazing show and I'm glad to see it's getting some love at the AV Club.  I discovered it last  year one groggy morning flipping though channels and seeing / hearing the vaguely familiar Reggie Watts, whom I saw open for Conan O'Brien during his live tour.

Well, break-up counseling actually.

They should call it "Twins Too" and add another set of twins who are also hot chicks.  But not the Olson twins.

Yeah, that's a little scary.  So far there haven't been any major missteps this season, but remember the first few episodes of S1 were pretty good too.  To me it was never really an issue that they used red herrings, it was more the unartful way in which they erased everything the following week.

Yes 12 hours aired over 10 weeks.  I think the last two will air on Aug 4, the week before the beginning of the final stretch of Breaking Bad…

Bruno Ponce Jones, don't be eat by alligator!

Way too many great sketches to even begin to pick favorites, but here are two off the top of my head:

Mumsy, look!  I caught a fish!

Nice.  My HBO aired KITH VHS recordings were the prized possession of my grade 6-8 years.

My initial reaction to this article was "how the heck could they leave out Jurassic Park 2"?  Then eventually I understood the point of the article and stopped asking myself that question.  But "Jurassic Park 2" still sucks.

The review is really late because Mr. Todd has been preoccupied with the new season of Arrested Development.  Cut him some slack.  We need to know what to think about the new season of AD before we need to know what to think about a new episode of MM.
