Agreed. Tony lives, here's why. You have to look at the history and pattern of the entire show. Throughout it's entire run The Sopranos has always teased the audience with one possible outcome only to do either the exact opposite or something else entirely.

Overall though I wish they would go even higher. Season 1 could have benefited hugely by actually showing a few more battle scenes even if they only lasted a couple of minutes.
