I loved this episode, it's one of the best overall star trek experiences in its entire history. With the volume up loud when Sisko says "Ready Phasers", "Fire!" and the phasers just start shooting in every direction I mean come on, who didn't like that?!

I thought some of the small things were great. In Explorers Sisko states he has a shipment of lumber coming in. That some of the ship is made from wood…I though it was kinda cool. Maybe he could've used the wood to make saw horses or tables to put together various parts but I like to think the former.
