I agree totally.  It also benefits from having a lot of Cleese-written material (most of it came from the discarded first draft of Holy Grail), though how much never seems to have been determined: various sources have it as being everything from essentially a show-length Cleese/Chapman sketch rewritten by the rest

Agreed.  Smart reviews of comedy that neither betray tone-deafness nor wreck the humor of the work reviewed are hard to pull off (even around these parts at times), so Erik deserves kudos.  Nice work.
