Yeah, I was lucky in that the guy who brought me into the game had a nice-sized playgroup of not-assholes, and even after many people moved I've been able to find even more not-assholes to play with. It makes it so that even when you do run into that asshole who plays with a competitive EDH deck when the rest of us

I play it on a PC, and I only occasionally run into connection issues. That's annoying, but eh, it's free.

I liked 2012 and 2013 the best, personally, but this year's addition is definitely better than the last two offerings, plus it's supposed to stick around this time.

I like that about the show's world too. Steven Universe's background characters also kinda overlook all the magic and aliens and whatnot in their universe as well. It actually makes sense: if in any given reality weird stuff happens all the time, then the denizens of that reality wouldn't think it's weird. Which is

Agreed. The whole time I kept thinking "I wish Paul F. Tompkins was doing this impersonation instead."

Ugh, the first Adventure Time episode I'm giving a D to. I'm usually all about AT doing some experimentation, but something about the art style, script, and foley work was grinding my gears. The only upside was Peebles, as she seemed just as annoyed and incredulous as I was watching the episode.

I feel like this was totally the movie we needed in the MCU right now. Not only because it was a Iron Man 1 scale sized plot and we need a break from the world ending stuff, but it made the super human stuff seem completely normal and accepted at this point in the MCU.

Delmarvacon is an anime convention in the nearby Charm City. Charm City is the real life nickname for Baltimore Maryland. Otakon is the largest anime convention on the east coast 3rd largest in the country, and takes place in Baltimore every year (though it's moving to D.C. soon…). There's no way a group as clearly

If you're not an anime fan (which is fine) it might be hard to explain. Hell it's hard to explain to another anime fan, you just know it when you see it. It's like, I dunno, an essence thing…. I know/seen a lot of other anime fans say the same thing about the show; I'm not crazy I swear!

My buddies asked me last night what it was like to be in the "bird mom is best mom" camp. I said it was hard this week. But I feel pretty justified right now. She might be having a tough time emotionally lately, and has Harley Quinn levels of psychotic co-dependence, but in all fairness she was built that way. And

Oh, Mayor Dewey. It's okay, I understand. Make sure you lock the door, don't want Buck walking in on you.

We know Mayor Dewey will after tonight's play.

Yeah, I've also been confused about the timing, and unfortunately I don't think it'll be fixed, because I bet the Crewniverse knows that not that many people will care. It's like the comet in Adventure Time, the one that comes every thousand years and wipes out everything, with it's last impacts being around our time

"Where am I supposed to hide all these boners? These are TOO MANY BONERS." - Mayor Dewey, 2015

It looks like the voice actors informally call it "Seymour's Bay" behind the scenes because the editor's name is Mark Seymour and they all spend so much time in his editing bay

Yeah, I get what you mean. Doing this makes it look/feel like a pretty good original internet series from the late aughties. But Adventure Time is it's own special little magical unicorn of a show.

Of course he's not Yellow Diamond. That's ridiculous fan-speculation.

Well, I'm convinced.
