"Friends"?
"Friends"?
THIS is the most brilliant idea for bring them together. Ever since the telescoping eyes in the Civil War Trailer, I've wanted more references to 60's Spider-Man and his stink eye. And pairing with the above guy's comments on the lack of canon to Deadpool, I think it'd be amazing.
Do we have to have Margot in a tub be the picture header? There was a lot more to that movie, and this was probably the most grating part with it's gaudy titillation.
But this is playing to divide the groups. While their is an obvious problem of White Feminism, it doesn't get us to the goal of equal pay for all if we decide that just because white women are in front that they're voices are valued less. It's only a way to make the groups complacent through infighting.
But healthy is a huge continuum. I'm overweight for my size, most likely, but the average person on the internet wouldn't start telling me I'm unhealthy. That's the problem with these labels. They categorize average people, people likely to be healthy, as others in the hierarchy of attraction, and "worrying" about…
I think the point is that it's reductive to have labels, no matter how "feminized" or sugar coated. You can acknowledge people's qualities without defining them singularly as plus-sized.
So I take it you're doing something to help those women of color? Or would you say you're pretending to make your rhetoric work?
Being larger than the media portrays does not mean you're obese. You can claim all you want that you care about the health of America, but you cannot deny that the average woman here is still healthy and still not a fucking size 4. The point is that we still struggle with this terrible idea of what women should be…
Really? How so?
I've earned it. I couldn't criticize it in good faith without having seen it. In the end, it is mediocre, but it has its moments. I'm not saying there is, or could have been, a good movie in there, but it was entertaining for what it's worth.
You know, I am one to get easily invested in what's happening. I just returned from seeing it, and the only time I yawned and wondered what time it was, was during the climax. The earlier, philosophical part of the film didn't bother me like it did critics. The movie is surprisingly well paced considering the length.…
Please, what is this amateur hour? We've been doing this since Watchmen was released. He makes it too easy as well, with all the new ways he's found to suck.*
I love the naming convention around these parts for the family members of commenters.
I hate to break it to you, but all money has passed through some strippers' hands at some point or another.
So how much would y'all hate me if I went to see this?
I feel like if this was a Great Job! Internet post it would have been much less funny to all involved.
My ex had an amazing impression, too. It always brings a smile to my face.
"…This one works as a throwback to a time when self-seriousness nearly red-lined the irony quotient of the average filmgoer."
Cave walls, shadows, and chains? I only watch what my brain makes up in the dark recesses of the abyss that is my mind.
I almost wish every failure of a format was connected through a family tree, where you can see the "evolution" of failure.
