I don't know about same tone, mostly because Ultimate Spider-Man has the worst of the bunch, with it's reliance on breaking the fourth wall in the most obnoxious of ways.

Can I just say that I love the move to the expressive mask, Mr. Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?

What do you mean by "box ringing scene?"

I came to post that exact same thing. I would add that their idea of "cool" is insanely cheesy and ridiculous. And what's with the need to place kids in the middle of such awful and violent sexual tension in both films?

I don't know. I hate the constrained conversations of tweets, and welcomed the trending topics bar on Facebook to connect me to the stories and peoples longer reactions to them. I guess to each their own.

The CW and Netflix have a Billion dollar distribution deal, so every forthcoming CW show will find it's way there. Usually though, it's in September, right ahead of the new season.
