My dad loves Clive Cussler books so I gave one a shot on his recommendation. I made it about three chapters in, put it down and vowed never again. I picked it back up during a fit of extreme boredom, then came to a chapter where Cussler wrote himself into the book as a character. Chucked it straight into the garbage.
