To be fair, the reviewer probably has a bunch of other stuff to review and not too much time for relistens.

Yeah, it could stand to be trimmed a bit.

Definitely some of the prettiest compositions they've come up with.

yes yes.

Yo La Tengo almost counts! Lineup changes in the late 80s-early 90s but have always been consistent since 1992 or so.

Thought you were talking about Sentinel-manufacturer Trask for a second thereā€¦

To quote the Brothers McElroy: "Blast my cache!"

Ugh, that line. No. No.

Just because something works on paper doesn't mean it will work when spoken aloud by humans who have mouths to other humans who have ears.

The book is so terrible. Glad to hear the adaptation isn't fooling anyone.

Power Pack, at least in their 80's X-Men crossovers, kinda sucked? Is there something worth reading in their own title?

That makes Man-Thing sad.

Can't wait for that Power Pack movie.

Can we talk about how the previous two iterations of Secret Wars kinda sucked?

Was Blankman not that farce?

Yo La Tengo's "Ballad of Yo La Tango"

Why not a comic book? I like Spiegelman's "comix" myself.

Volume four is my favorite, and it does focus on the work of Mulatu Astatke.

The Chicken With Plums film is interesting too. Probably should've been animated, as the live-action cartoon-iness of it is a little odd, but a pleasant diversion.

I'd rather her include a few warts in her memoir than paint herself all rosy.
