The question Toby posed to the President is a debate question Michael Dukakis flubbed in 1988 so badly that well… Aaron Sorkin was still somewhat upset about it.

I look forward to the Dr. Strangelove  remake which Jaffe justifies with a shrug and the comment, "Some people might enjoy a nuclear holocaust."

If the first Machete could save Lindsey Lohan's career, why not Sheen's?

I rarely compliment Aaron Sorkin on his economy but how the series A) sets-up the George W. Bush character B) systematically dismantles him is well executed. You really only need the Bartlet opera meeting, Josh's short monologue in this episode, and the five minutes of debate in the next episode.

Prometheus seems to be two movies at once. First, allegorical look at faith vs. reason, religion, what makes us human (Did anyone notice how David's nose looks like Pinocchio's at the beginning when he's wearing the helmet?) I'm going to have to chew on this for a while if any of this worked. Though my first reaction

So it was basically Homer Simpson vs. Steve Martin for Head Garbageman except they didn't have to move the entire city after the wacky guy inevitably floundered.

Seeing a 5 hour movie getting only a "C+"… Well, you're a trooper, Scott Tobias. Really earned the big bucks today I assume AV pays out.

Growing up I heard a lot about how the costal types looked down at us living in the flyover states. I don't think I took it seriously. After I saw this episode, my reaction was "Wow, they really do think we're all idiots."

I remember with fondness two Grandpa heavy episodes: the bowling one and the one where Tommy gets kidnapped. Rugrats was the show that taught me the simple joy of crotchety old men.
